Filigree is traditionally delicate and intricate ornamental work made from gold, silver and used as jewelry.
Over the years, the term has broadened its meaning and does not apply just to jewelry but to lace, patterns and any thoughtfully designed open and intricate artwork.
Rugged strokes to contrast the graceful design. Here is my original hand-drawn take on filigree; keeping true to my unique style. Its done with black fine liner pens on paper.
